Assistant Professor | Faculty of Philology Jelena Pralas graduated from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of the University of Novi Sad. In the same University she also completed her Master Studies in English Literature defending the thesis "Internal and External Exiles - Lives and Novels of Virginia Woolf and Edith Wharton". Since the focus of her interest in research and teaching gradually moved to the field of Translation Studies her PhD thesis - "Translation of Culture-Specific Items in the Fiction by Julian Barnes" - was multidisciplinary (literary studies, cultural studies and translation studies).
