As part of the Erasmus+ ZeroC project, a two-day training on “Digitalization for Reducing CO2 Emissions in maritime transport and logistics” was held at the University Ismail Qemali in Vlore

The training held on March 18 and 19, 2025, was focused on the application of modern digital technologies and solutions aimed at reducing CO₂ emissions in the maritime transport and logistics sector. The emphasis was placed on the practical use of tools for optimizing energy efficiency, digital emission monitoring, the integration of smart systems, and real-time data analysis.

The training was delivered by professors from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, and the University of Bari from Italy.

Following the training, on March 20 and 21, a regular meeting of the project’s management board was held, where participants reviewed the progress achieved so far, the current status of activity implementation, and plans for the upcoming period.

Representing the University of Montenegro / Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor, the training was attended by assistant professor Miroslav Vukićević, Sead Cvrk PhD and Maja Škurić PhD, while the management board meeting was attended by Radmila Gagić MSc and professor Danilo Nikolić.
