Summer School of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology for Students of Technical Faculties

Summer School of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology for Students of Technical Faculties

The Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology of the University of Montenegro is organizing the summer school "Physico-chemical methods of characterizing materials for energy storage" from September 19 to 25, 2022.

This is an exceptional opportunity for students to become familiar with modern trends in the development of systems for energy conversion and storage (batteries, supercapacitors and fuel cells), as well as to find out what information about electrode materials can be obtained by different methods of characterization of electrode materials such as X-ray structural analysis, infrared and Raman spectroscopy, methods for determining textural properties of materials, electrochemical methods, etc. The lecturers are eminent professors and researchers from the region with rich experience in materials science. In addition to classical lectures, the school has planned practical exercises on the devices available at the MTF. A detailed schedule of the school and names of lecturers will be available soon.

All interested students of technical faculties can apply to participate in the school. Applications can be filled out via the link https://forms.gle/7EpkBi9q9aRW65sS9.

The number of participants is limited, and the application deadline is September 12.

The project is organized with the support of the Ministry of Science and Technological Development of Montenegro, and the manager is Veselinka Grudić, PhD.
