Agreement on cooperation signed between the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Montenegro and the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Osijek
Driven by a common interest in advancing the development of academic, research and teaching cooperation, the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Montenegro and the Faculty of Philosophy of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek have concluded a partnership agreement on cooperation. The agreement was signed by full prof. Tatjana Novović, PhD, the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and assoc. prof. Leonard Pon, PhD. Sc, the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy.
Partnership between the two institutions is established through the following forms of cooperation: promoting individual contacts between researchers; participation in the development of joint projects, including those funded by the European Union; cooperation in the field of development of study programs and subjects; exchange of books, manuals, journals, scientific publications, etc .; joint organization of scientific research, conferences, symposia, seminars, workshops and joint efforts to raise funds from external sources; cooperation in other areas of mutual interest.
Despite the great limitations due to the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus, the Faculty of Philosophy has worked intensively in the field of internationalization, as one of the most important directions of the development strategy of the University of Montenegro. Let us remind that this year agreements were also signed with: the Croatian Institute of History in Zagreb, the Ivo Pilar Institute of Social Sciences in Zagreb, the Balkan History Association from Bucharest and the Faculty of Education of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek. The Faculty of Philosophy will continue to develop and strengthen strategic academic partnerships with scientific and higher education institutions, as well as work on improving openness and greater international visibility. In that way, our students, administration, associates and professors will have better academic connections and connections.
