MONUSEN Center: Lectures on Robotics and Intelligent Maritime Systems

MONUSEN Center is organizing lectures on Wednesday, May 8th (10:15 am - 3:30 pm) and Thursday, May 9th (10:15 am - 12:00 pm), covering various topics in the field of robotics and intelligent marine systems. The lectures will be conducted by researchers from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb: Assist. Prof. Dr. Đula Nađ, Matko Batkoš, and Matej Fabijanić, as well as Guy Gubnitsky, a PhD student from the University of Haifa.

Attendees will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with various methods and sensor technologies used for interaction between divers and robots, as well as current research directions in this field. Additionally, attendees will learn about the applications of machine learning in processing acoustic underwater signals and the use of LiDAR technology in the navigation of autonomous vessels.

All interested researchers and students are invited to attend the lectures. Due to limited seating, attendance must be confirmed by emailing monusen@ucg.ac.me no later than Tuesday, May 7th, 2024.
