Treatment of vulnerable groups in media discourse in Slovenia and Montenegro

Within the bilateral scientific project "The Treatment of Vulnerable Groups in Media Discourse in Slovenia and Montenegro" in Montenegro, in the period from 20 to 24 September, assistant prof. Vesna Lazović, PhD and assistant prof. Monika Kavalir, PhD from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Ljubljana. At the meeting, which was attended by the Montenegrin coordinator of the project, assoc. prof. Igor Lakić, PhD and members of the project team assoc. prof. Milica Vuković-Stamatović and Branka Živković, PhD, colleagues from Slovenia introduced Montenegrin colleagues to the functioning of the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Ljubljana from the perspective of project activities, especially with similar projects that are being implemented or have been implemented with scientific institutions in the region. Colleagues Lakić, Vuković-Stamatović and Živković introduced their Slovenian colleagues to current projects and project activities of the Faculty of Philology, and various academic contexts within which future cooperation between these institutions would be possible were also considered.

Members of both project teams discussed further joint activities and how the project results will be presented to the academic public - participation in conferences, publication of scientific papers, guest lectures, and specific activities will be implemented in phases during the project team members visit the Faculty of Philosophy and the Faculty of Philology of the University of Montenegro.
