Launching the new Research Centre for Info-Communication Technologies has marked the first year of the successful Fore-Mont implementation. The researchers from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (University of Montenegro), in the presence of the project partners coming from 5 partnering research institutions from different EU countries, as well as 8 supporting entities, have had an opportunity to demonstrate major improvements obtained in laboratory equipment and capacities. At the same time, work on the new Centre’s research platform has been intensified aiming at the creation of new innovative solutions at the physical, as well as the application, layer of high-speed info-communication infrastructures.

Bringing an innovative dimension in its research activities, the objective of the Centre is focused on building a sustainable strategy, knowledge, and infrastructure to be able to support the development of e-Society for Montenegro, but as well, as the leading regional centre to offer this range of materials and skills, for all South-Eastern Europe area.
