MAPSS
The Montenegrin Association of Political Science Students – MAPSS is a non-governmental organisation founded in July 2006. After the opening of the Faculty of Political Science in Podgorica, it was neccesary to establish a student organisation which would work on the improvement of the status of its students, the development of student activism and their contribution to better development of Political Science.
The aim of the organisation is to unite the students of Political Science and develop analytical and scientific thinking through projects that will bring answers and solutions to events and problems in the country and beyond. The exchange of experience and knowledge, the implementation of original ideas in practice and the encouragement of others to work are the reasons why this association persists and why members are constantly working to achieve these goals.
The activities of MAPSS include the organisation of seminars, conferences, debates, panel discussions, visits to institutions, discusions on various socio-political issues and other forms of social action.
MAPSS cooperate with other similar organizations, and universities in the region and abroad with the aim of providing students with professional practice in the field of Political Science.
