Steering Committe UoM: Procedure for the election of the Dean of the Faculty of Metallurgical and Technological Engineering initiated

The Management Board of the University of Montenegro (UCG) has initiated the procedure for the election of the Dean of the Faculty of Metallurgical and Technological Engineering, during todays session held at the UCG Rectorate, chaired by Prof. Dr. Rajka Glušica.

This procedure was initiated due to the expiration of the term of the current dean, Prof. Dr. Veselinka Grudić, who took office in October 2021. The call for applications will be published in the Bulletin of the University of Montenegro and a daily newspaper circulating in Montenegro. Applications are to be submitted within 15 days from the announcement date. The dean election procedure also pertains to a three-year term, with election actions determined by a special decision of the UCG Management Board.

The session also acknowledged the end of the term of Prof. Dr. Milan Marković as the dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences. Prof. Dr. Boris Vukićević will take over this position, in accordance with an earlier decision made by the UCG Management Board.

Additionally, the session approved the University of Montenegro’s Intellectual Property Protection Policy, following a positive opinion from the UCG Senate. This policy outlines principles, procedures, and guidelines for the management and protection of intellectual property created within the University of Montenegro.

Other current topics of the University of Montenegros regular operations were also discussed at the session.
