SeaDataCloud Project (Further development of pan-European infrastructure for marine and ocean data management) is approved within the H2020 work program: H2020-EU.1.4.1.2. - Integrating and opening existing national and regional research infrastructures of European interest, call: H2020- INFRAIA-01-2016-2017: Integrating Activities for Advanced Communities, action: Multidisciplinary Marine Data Centres for ocean and marine data management. This project is a continuation of successfully implemented projects SeaSearch, SeaDataNet and SeaDataNet II, funded under FP5, FP6, FP7 EU funds, during which SeaDataNet pan-European infrastructure for managing, indexing and securing access to sea and ocean data has been developed, as well as products of these data obtained during exploratory cruises and other activities of observing European seas and the world's oceans. The SeaDataCloud project aims to significantly enhance the existing SeaDataNet service and its portability through cloud technology and HPC technology for better service. Incorporating advanced services into the Virtual Research Environment will allow longer and greater participation of the users of this service. Researchers will have at their disposal services and tools tailored to their specific needs, which will support marine research and create new product values.
