After passing this exam, it is expected that the student will be able to: define and explain the basic human rights and their legal protection; properly interpret relevant international and national legislations, with particular emphasis on legal constraints on freedom of human rights; know the basic standards of international legal protection of human rights, democracy and the rule of law; define and explain human security and the relevant jurisprudence of judicial and quasi-judicial bodies in Montenegro; apply rules to protect fundamental human rights in extraordinary circumstances, as well as in armed conflicts.
