Learning outcomes: After passing the exam in the mentioned subject, the student will be able to: - explain the basic terms that define Russian culture and civilization (Russian people, nation, state, language, history, religion, ideology, art) - describe the basic geopolitical determinants of the Russian Federation - observe the interweaving of pagan and Christian elements in Russian culture - explain the formation of dominant Russian national identity - compare Russian everyday life and elements of material culture in different epochs of historical development
