 Joint Research Center has announced three new calls for training and capacity building

The Joint Research Center has announced three new calls for training and capacity building, namely:

  1. Hopkinson Bar Facility, ELSA - The Hopkinson Bar Facility (HopLab) is used to study materials and structural components under very fast dynamic loads, such as those due to explosions and impacts, where knowledge of material behavior at high strain rates is necessary;
  2. Reaction Wall, ELSA - The ELSA reaction wall is a facility of unique dimensions and capabilities, capable of conducting experimental tests on full-scale specimens to assess the safety of structures against earthquakes and other natural and man-made hazards;
  3. Nanobiotechnology Laboratory - The Nanobiotechnology Laboratory has state-of-the-art facilities designed to encourage interdisciplinary studies. The priorities are the detection of micro (nano)plastics and the characterization of health products based on nano-biotechnology.
