Procedure for awarding successful applications to international and national projects
University of Montenegro adopted a rules defining the method of rewarding employees for their contribution to development, and especially to the international positioning of the University of Montenegro. The employee has the right to request an award due to the publication of the results of scientific and research work in the leading reference categories of magazines and publishers, achieving academic mobility at high-ranking universities, participation in international projects and other prescribed by this rules.
Article 9 of the Rulebook defines the amount of awards to project teams of the University of Montenegro, for the successful application of an international or national project, thus:
- for an approved international project (when funds are not provided from the state budget, nor from other funds available to the Government of Montenegro), on a competitive basis - in the capacity of coordinator of the entire consortium - with a one-time award in the amount of 3.75% of the value of the budget allocated to the University Montenegro;
- for an approved international project (when funds are not provided from the state budget, nor from other funds at the disposal of the Government of Montenegro), on a competitive basis - in the capacity of a partner institution - with a one-time award in the amount of 1.25% of the value of the budget allocated to the University of Montenegro Above;
- for an approved national project (when funds are provided from the state budget or from other funds available to the Government of Montenegro), on a competitive basis - in the capacity of coordinator of the entire consortium - with a one-time award in the amount of 2.25% of the value of the budget allocated to the University of Montenegro Above (determined amount less the amount for mandatory co-financing);
- for an approved national project (funds provided from the state budget or from other funds available to the Government of Montenegro), on a competitive basis - as a partner institution - with a one-time award in the amount of 0.75% of the value of the budget allocated to the University of Montenegro.
Prize amounts are calculated on the value of the budget allocated to the University of Montenegro, which is defined by the project budget, and reduced by the amount of mandatory co-financing, if any.
Awarding is limited to the budget of the project allocated to the University of Montenegro (the specified amount minus the amount for mandatory co-financing) in the amount of a maximum of 250,000.00 euros.
The decision on awarding the award is made by the rector, on the proposal of the vice-rector for internationalization, in a procedure at the request of the coordinator/project manager, with which the coordinator/project manager submits proof that the contract on the realization of the project has been signed, as well as proof of the amount of the budget allocated to the University of Montenegro (that is, the organizational unit) after signing the contract.
The application for the award must be sent to the Projects Office of the University of Montenegro, and the form as well as the Rulebook are available in the attachment.
