Information for Incoming Staff
Erasmus+ Programme enables academic and administrative staff members to realize teaching or training mobility at the University of Montenegro (UoM). The sending organization must be a EU Member State or Third country associated to the Programme HEI with a signed inter-institutional agreement with the University of Montenegro.

The University of Montenegro is represented with its infrastructure in three Montenegrin regions: central, northern and southern. The capital of Montenegro, Podgorica, is home to the largest number of faculties, and classes also take place in Nikšić, Cetinje, Kotor, Bar, Igalo, Berane and Bijelo Polje. The seat of the University is in Podgorica, where the new building of the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro was opened in 2009.
Application Procedure
If you are a teaching or non-teaching staff member of one of our partner universities, who is nominated by your institution (International Relations Office) within the Erasmus+ Programme, you should send filled, signed, and stamped
TEACHING MOBILITY AGREEMENT, or
to UoMs International Relations and Mobility Office (irouom@ucg.ac.me). Then, your Agreement will be forwarded to the host department for approval. After the department confirms your visit, respective faculty will send an Invitation Letter.
International Realations and Mobility Office will send Invitation Letter to staff visiting the Rectorate of the University.
Upon a successfully finished Erasmus+ teaching/training mobility at the UoM, the host unit, where you completed your mobility, will issue a Mobility Certificate.
Note that you are obliged to enter Montenegro with a valid health insurance policy.

NOTE: The University of Montenegro Rectorate building is situated in Podgorica. There are 19 faculty units within UoM located in Podgorica, Nikšic, Cetinje, Kotor, Herceg Novi, Bar, Bijelo Polje, Budva and Berane. Visa and entry requirements
Citizens of EU countries can enter Montenegro for short-term stays of up to 90 days without a visa.
Make sure you get an entry stamp in your passport in order to avoid problems related to verifying the length of your stay in the country.
