Adnan Prekic - Biography

Dr Adnan Prekić, graduated from the Department of History and Geography, Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić. At the Faculty of Philosophy in Niksic graduated from the Department of History and Geography. He received his masters degree at the Department of History of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade and received his PhD at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niksic.

The main subject of scientific interest is the modern history of the twentieth century. He was engaged in a period of socialist rule in Montenegro, exploring the political ideas and ideology of the communist authorities, as well as the cultural heritage of Montenegro. 

He is a member of several international professional and research associations, and was also a member of the UNESCO National Commission for Montenegro. Member of the Board of Education of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts and editor of a scientific journal: Montenegrin journal for social sciences.

Lives and works in Podgorica.
