"I believe that the University, through the establishment of the good practice to provide awards and acknowledgements, gave a motivation and encouragement to many talented young researchers to continue with their work", said Dr Slobodan Živaljević, who, upon the proposition of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, received the Acknowledgment of the University of Montenegro for the Achieved Results and Contribution to the Development of Scientific, Research, and Art Work, for the 2021.

"With this, a positive competition is encouraged at the University units, and created an adequate scientific an research environment, which further provides better positioning of the University of Montenegro at the international academic scene ", he added.

As he explained, scientific papers he has published during the last year, are motivated by real problems in area of civil engineering geotechnology, so, besides the academic, they also have a certain practical significance.

"In that sense, I would like to emphasize the importance of synergy between the academiv community and industry.
