At the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, Swimming is Eliminatory when Taking the Admission Exam on Tuesday
At the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro, taking admission exam for enrollment in the first year of undergraduate studies, in the fourth term, in the study program Physical Culture and Healthy Lifestyles with five vacancies, will be organized on Tuesday, September 15th, 2020, at 10am.
Vice Dean for Teaching Assistant Professor Danilo Bojanic, PhD, said that the candidates take: Swimming - demonstration of swimming knowledge (swim the length of the pool of 50m); Athletics - sprint 100m; Polygon of dexterity and agility, sports games.
"When it comes to sports games (football, basketball, handball and volleyball), the candidate should show the basics of handling the ball in each sport individually. In the field of dexterity and agility, the candidate should successfully pass certain related tasks from the beginning to the end of the range and achieve the best possible time. In relation to the time achieved, the candidates win a certain number of points ", Bojanić said.
The Vice Dean noted that examples of all required tasks and disciplines, both for boys and girls, are shown in videos on the faculty website, and that there is a "Guide" on the faculty website where points and grades that can be won for each discipline.
"Also, preparation of candidates for admission exam was organized, on every working day from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, in the hall of the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić," Bojanić adds.
When it comes to swimming, he says, it is eliminatory.
"Non-swimmers cannot enroll in college, while in other disciplines it is important to complete tasks to the end, and achieve best results, because that way they will collect most points. A swimming test will be organized this time on Lake Krupac. We will gather at 9:45, and at 10:00 a.m. the inspection begins, "he said.
The Vice Dean reminded that candidates who did not submit a medical certificate with the indication: "The candidate is capable of studying at the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education" will not be able to take admission exam.
He wished the candidates good luck, with message that they complete each task, as well as adhere to recommendations of the NCB.
