Anthropometric Measurement of Male Cadet Water Polo Representations of Greece, Australia, Russia and Montenegro

The Faculty for Sport and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro, within the diagnostic center at its disposal on Wednesday, August 23, conducted the measurement of cadet Water Polo representations of Greece, Australia, Russia and Montenegro, located in Nikšić, which from 24th to 27th August will host the Mediterranean Championship - COMEN CUP 2017, for Water Polo players born in 2000 and younger.

These measurements were performed by Rajko Milašinović and Ivan Vasiljević, and the expert staff of all measured teams received an insight into the percentage values of fat, bone and muscle tissue, the total amount of water in the body, the relationship between the left and right sides of the body, and metabolic parameters. From the Faculty for Sport and Physical Education satisfaction was expressed with the realized measurements that provide key information which influences changes in training procedures and periodization of training, which is of particular importance for young athletes. They also emphasize that every successful sports team should use at least some kind of diagnostic tools for testing and evaluating athletes, precise programming of the diet and adjusting with a specific training program.
