Training for Beginners in Business for Students of the University of Montenegro

Organized by the Office for Career development and Lifelong Learning of the University of Montenegro, free Training for Beginners in Business intended for students of all study levels started yesterday.

As fourth generation of attendees, this program will be attended by 28 students of the University of Montenegro. Lectures and workshops will be held every week while lecturers are Boban Melović, Full Professor and Vesna Popović-Bugarin, PhD and visiting lecturers from UMNE and from practice.

Aim of the training is to enable participants to understand importance of business and entrepreneurship in the modern business environment, as well as to master key knowledge and skills for starting and successfully running their own business. At the end of the training, students will be shown how to create a business plan. The training will last two months, and will be held twice a week in the Rectorate building of the University of Montenegro.

The Office for Career Development and LLL will enable students to specify the knowledge acquired during the training, within the framework of the Contest for the best startup ideas, intended for all UMNE students, which will be implemented immediately after the end of the Training. Students will have the opportunity to present their business plan, and those ideas that prove to be the most innovative will get money and special prizes.

Students who successfully complete entire training program will be awarded certificates.
