JRC Call for Open Access to Laboratory of Nano Biotechnology

Joint research Centre – JRC, one of general directorates of the European Commission, published Competence for Open Access to Laboratory of Nano Biotechnology in order to train and build capacities for joint states among which is Montenegro, within its invitations for access to research infrastructure.
This is the laboratory equipped with the most contemporary technology for researches of features of nanobiotechnology, nanomedicine, advanced materials and their infrastructure with biological systems, as well as for detection, identification and characterization of nanomaterials in food and consumer products, located in Ispra, Italy. More on the Laboratory on the following website:
https://ec.europa.eu/jrc/en/research-facility/nanobiotechnology-laboratory
The call is intended for users from universities, scientific-research and public institutions, as well as for users from small and medium-sized enterprises.
The bearer institution in partnership with institutions from joint states applies for the call and runs a certain number of users. The list of joint countries available here:
Training in the Laboratory for nanobiotechnology refers to:
Measurements of nanomaterials by using dynamic spread of light, sedimentation by disinfection centrifuges, asymmetric and sedimentary fractionation of flow in the field with different detectors and analytical ultra centrifuge
In vitro tests for research of interaction between nanomaterial-cells and emphasizing the traps occurred during test development for the reason of a particular nature of nanomaterials (in vitro dosimetry, interaction of nanomaterials with cell reagents).
Research of biomolecular interactions by the resonance of surface plasmon and quartz techniques of microbalance.
ICP-MS uključujući detekciju čestice.
Raman spectroscopy, ellipsometry, electron microscopy and an introduction to chemical analysis using KSPS and / or ToF-SIMS.
ICP-MS including particle detection.
If interested potential users are interested in another above stated topics, and consider the training within the Laboratories for nanotechnology useful, they may address on the following e-mail: JRC-OPEN-NANOBIOTECH@ec.europa.eu
How to apply: application form to be sent on the following address: JRC-RI-TRAINING-CB@ec.europa.eu
Terms for election of applications depend on:
Quality of the group of institutions submitting application:
