Outstanding Success of Montenegrin Students on EuroSkills 2025: Two Medals for Entrepreneurship Team

Today, at the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro, the Rector, Vladimir Božović, PhD, received students of the Faculty of Economics, Ana Slavić and Dino Kožar, together with their mentor, Full Professor Boban Melović, PhD, on the occasion of their outstanding success at EuroSkills 2025 – largest and most prestigious European skills competition, held from September 8 to 14 in Herning, Denmark.

In discipline Entrepreneurship – Business Idea Development, students won Medal of Excellence for achieving a high level of quality, with highest score in discipline (740). In addition, their team also received the Best of Nation EuroSkills award, which is given to the best-ranked team of one country.

With this success, Montenegrin competitors and experts once again confirmed that Montenegro has exceptional talents and top professionals, showing that it can compete on equal terms with best European teams in the field of entrepreneurship and business idea development.

This year’s EuroSkills competition brought together 597 competitors in 38 skills from 32 European countries, while the event was visited by more than 100,000 people. Besides Entrepreneurship, Montenegro also had representatives in the disciplines of Web Programming, Cooking, Restaurant Service, and Hairdressing Services. Participation in the Best of Nation EuroSkills competition was organized by the Center for Vocational Education, which represents Montenegro in the WorldSkills Europe association.

Next EuroSkills competition will be held in 2027 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
