International scientific conference on the 170th anniversary of the Montenegrin army military reform

As part of the celebration of the University of Montenegros anniversary, the Historical Institute, in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, is organizing an international scientific conference titled "170 Years of Montenegrin Army Military Reform (1854-2024)." The conference is envisioned as a platform for historians, defense experts, and international guests to exchange knowledge and experiences about significant changes in Montenegros military structure through history.

The official opening of the conference is scheduled for June 5, 2024, at the University of Montenegros Rectorate building, while the second part of the working sessions will be held at the "Milovan Šaranović" barracks in Danilovgrad. This will be an opportunity to explore how military reforms have influenced the development of the Montenegrin state and its armed forces.

Abstracts should be submitted by May 25, 2024.
