Biography - Lazović Luka

Lazovic Luka was born on October 7, 1987. in Niksić where he completed his elementary and high school education. At the high school graduation, he was awarded the Luca diploma. By defending the thesis "Optimization of power consumption in integrated Charge pump circuits" in 2010 he got his B.E.E. degree at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Podgorica. His master thesis entitled "Performance Analysis of Adaptive Algorithms for the Synthesis of Diagrams of Radiation of Planar Antenna Arrays" was defended on 18.06.2015. He started his doctoral studies at the department of microwave technology in 2015.

His work experience started in the company "Ening" Ltd Niksić in 2010 where he completed his internship. He worked there as an engineer and designer of the automatic control of thermo-technical systems as well as BMS (Building Monitoring System). Since 2012, he was employed in the EPCG, in the FU Distribution. He was engaged in the project of improving the measurement system in the distribution system.

At the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Podgorica, since 2014, Luka has the role of a teaching assistant on numerous subjects in the field of general electrotechnics: Basics of Electrotechnics 2, Electromagnetics, Propagation and Radiation of Electromagnetic Waves, Microwave Antennas, Microwave Technique, Nonlinear Electric Circuits and Electrical Installations. His areas of scientific interest include: Smart antenna systems, algorithms for the synthesis of radiation patterns, antennas for 5G systems and the propagation and radiation of electromagnetic waves.

He is the author of several scientific papers published in international and domestic journals as well as at international and domestic conferences. He is the reviewer of several papers in prestigious magazines such as AEU and COMPEL. He is also a reviewer of several papers for IT and ETRAN conferences. Additionally, he is a member of the Professional Association of IEEE - Microwave Technology Society and Antennas and Propagation Society.

Luka participated in a project of the first Center for Excellence in Montenegro (BIO-ICT). He is also a member of the team at the Laboratory certified for the measurement of electromagnetic emissions. He took part in the bilateral project "5G-RECTenna" in cooperation with the Belgrade Institute of Physics.

He’s fluent in English.
