  1. Possesses knowledge about the structure, function and behavior of a healthy and sick person, the influence of the natural and social environment on the general and oral health of the population, which enables him to have a scientific way of thinking and reasoning.
  2. Knows disorders of the structure and functions of the orofacial system and their relationship with the patient's general health and social status.
  3. Knows clinical disciplines, which give dental doctors a clear picture of anomalies, injuries and diseases of the mouth, teeth, jaws and related tissues, knows the impact of systemic conditions and disorders on oral health.
  4. He is qualified to independently examine the patient's orofacial region, integrate the acquired knowledge and skills in diagnosing, planning and performing basic dental preventive, prophylactic, therapeutic and emergency procedures.
  5. Applies the principles of oral health promotion and prevention of oral diseases and is competent to recognize individual and population risk and protect the individual from risk.
  6. Possesses developed communication skills in contact with patients and their family, colleagues and medical staff, police and judicial authorities, media and knows how to protect and promote the rights of the patient. He is able to participate in team work and teach.
