Miroslav Vukičević was born on September 16, 1981. in Kotor, where he attended elementary and secondary Maritime school, where he received a prize for excellent achievements during high school. He graduated at Maritime Faculty in Kotor in 2005, while he successfully worked like handball coach (vice-champion of Montenegro 2003/04 season). Immediately after graduating in 2005, he started sailing to the overseas Japanese company Mitsui O.S.K. Lines.
