It is expected that the student after passing the examination in this subject will be able to: 1. Interpret properly basic concepts of anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology of the heart and vascular system 2. Describe and define the various diseases of the heart and vascular system. 3. Understand and describe the impact of diseases of the heart and vascular system on the functioning and the quality of life of the patient 4. Plan and implement physiotherapy procedures used in the treatment and rehabilitation in a variety of diseases of the cardiovascular system (angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, thrombophlebitis, deep vein thrombosis, thromboembolism). 5. Understand the importance of interprofessional teamwork in the rehabilitation of patients with diseases of the cardiovascular system
