It is expected that after passing the exam in this subject, the student will be able to: 1. Describe the etiology, pathogenesis and clinical presentation of common neurological disorders and diseases, connect them with the structure and function of the nervous system and the impact on the patients functioning 2. Explain and carry out the appropriate physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with neurological disorders 3.Participates in clinical judgment in order to prioritize problems and plan a physiotherapy program that meets the individual needs of the patient. 4.Demonstrates the safe and effective application of basic physiotherapy interventions used in the treatment of people with neurological disorders, monitors and evaluates the effects of the applied therapy5. Recognize the role of physiotherapists and other health professionals, patients, their families and carers in a comprehensive approach to the treatment and rehabilitation of neurological patients.
