Upon completion of the course from this subject, students of the Pharmacy study program will be able to:  Defines terms: oxidative stress, oxidation, reduction, oxidant, antioxidant, etc.  Understands the basics of the role of oxidative stress in the pathophysiology of various diseases and conditions;  Understand the importance of using antioxidants in the prevention/treatment of various diseases and conditions;  Actively searches the literature and creates review articles in this field.
