After completing the curriculum, the student will be able to: - understands rehabilitation programs in the community, on outpatient and hospital treatment. - solves concrete problems from everyday medical practice within rehabilitation programs in the community, to protect the health of people with physical and mental handicaps -participates in the implementation of basic care within the rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy and other conditions in children and youth in which habilitation and rehabilitation are carried out. - knows, understands and implements basic rehabilitation in patients after locomotor apparatus injury, peripheral nerve lesions, patients with vertebral syndrome, patients with inflammatory and degenerative rheumatism - knows, understands and implements basic rehabilitation in patients with hemiplegia, paraplegia and quadriplegia, - knows and applies prevention of early complications, contructure, pressure ulcers, sphincter care -knows, understands and implements the basic principles of rehabilitation medicine and specific rehabilitation treatments for the elderly due to their incapacity as a result of illness or injury to the locomotor, nervous and cardiorespiratory systems
