After completing the Biochemistry course, the student will be able to: - explain the structure and chemical properties of biomolecules; - explain the relationship between the structure and the biological role of biomolecules; - compare and explain the basic mechanisms of regulation of metabolic pathways; - describe and analyze the course of the main catabolic, anabolic and common metabolic pathways.
