After passing the exam in this subject, students will be able to: 1. Identifies the components of programmable logic controllers; 2. Physically connect and program the PLC; 3. Recognize different modules; 4. Set up data communication between PLC and PC. 5. Connect the input and output with the PLC; 6. Write simple Ladder logic programs (diagrams) using bits, counters, timers; 7. Describe the actions in the Ladder logic diagram; 8. Solve hardware problems with the PLC system; 9. Identify and solve problems in the Ladder logic diagram.
