After passing the exam in this subject, students will be able to: • define basic pneumatic terms and units, • identify pneumatic graphic symbols, • identify pneumatic components, • describe the functions of pneumatic components, • choose the appropriate pneumatic components, • install pneumatic systems and circuits, • install power supply devices, • calculate the size of the power supply components, • develop and analyze pneumatic control schemes, • apply different methods of synthesis of pneumatic control circuits, • use software for synthesis, simulation and analysis of pneumatic control schemes.
