Learning outcomes:

After passing this exam, students will be able to: 1. They fully understand the concept of the CV method for discretizing the transport equation 2. Fully understands the k-ε model for turbulent flows 3. To understand models that describe the phase transition in single-component and multi-component systems 4. To understand special algorithms of higher order for convection and diffusion 5. Independently derives and understands the transport equation for heat, mass and concentration transfer in detail 6. Understands the concept of the CVFEM method for fluids and solids 7. Performs the discretization of the transport equation using the CVFEM method using the FORTRAN programming language 8. Understands solutions of the transport equation for advection and diffusion 9. Demonstrates the application of the CVFEM method for potential and eddy currents 10. Independently programs and solves 3D propagation problems using the 3D CVFEM method
