After passing the exam in this subject, students will be able to: 1. They solve specific problems in the field of detection and recognition of types of material damage during exploitation. 2. To determine the potential causes of damage, as well as to consider possible possibilities for prevention of further occurrence of damage that may occur. 3. They recognize and define the state of the material depending on the conditions of exploitation: creep, fatigue, residual stresses and corrosion. 4. To connect the acquired knowledge from this field with other fields. 5. They apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
