Once the student has completed the exam he/she will be able to: - Apply basic equation of particle dynamics and accordingly solves direct and inverse problem; - Analyzes free and harmonically excited, with and without damping, straight linear oscillations of a particle; - Apply the laws of momentum, angular momentum and kinetic energy of particle, systems of particles and rigid bodies, as well as the corresponding conservation laws; - Apply D’Alambert principle on the particle, a system of particles and rigid body; - Analyzes the motion of particles and rigid bodies in an impact; - Apply Lagrange equations onto simple mechanical systems.
