After passing the exam, the student should be able to: - Achieve successful communication in English - with acceptable pronunciation and intonation - using appropriate register and correct vocabulary and grammar. - Master basic terminology in the fields of mechanical engineering and road traffic; - Use individual words, appropriate collocations, phrases, and idioms in context. - Independently use appropriate textbooks and scientific literature, bibliographic sources, and internet resources in English. - Learn how to take notes, summarize the text he/she has listened to or read, use abbreviations and acronyms, and become familiar with computer jargon in English.
