After passing this exam, the student will be able to: - Understands how polises were formed in ancient Greece; - Lists the most important war operations during the Greco-Persian and Peloponnesian wars; - Explain how the Macedonian state was strengthened and how the Hellenistic states were created; - Knows the main reasons for the spread of Roman power; - Establish the causes of the crisis in the 3rd century AD and understand the reform policy of the Roman emperors Diocletian and Constantine; - He knows the most important historical sources.
