After the student passes this exam, he/she will be able to: - explain the terms village, agrarian, rural, urban...; - analyze different theoretical-methodological trends in rural sociology; - know the difference between monographic, typological, analytical and phenomenological approaches in sociological research of villages; - recognize the problems and importance of rural heritage for the local community and for the global society in which it is located
