Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Explain the basic concepts of lexicology (morpheme, lexeme, word, prefixoids, sufixoids); 2. Define semantic relations between words; 3. Implement concepts in appropriate examples in German; 4. Distinguish types of word formation in German; 5. Explain the type of noun, adjective, verb, and adverb formation using examples.
