After students pass this exam, they will be able to: 1. Define the relationship inside a compound sentence in German; 2. Define the relationship inside a complex sentence; 3. Recognize types of dependent clauses in German; 4. Recognize possibilities for the transformation a dependent clause to a independent clause and vice versa; 5. Distinguish types of conjunctions in German.
