After completing the course and passing the exam, the student should: 1 . Analyze the genesis, structure, themes and style of two representative works of Italian literature. 2 . Discuss argumentatively on topics from The Canzoniere and The Decameron. 3 . Explain the place of the elaborated works in the context of Italian and European literature.
