After completing the course and passing the exam, the student will be able to: 1. Explain the process of evolution and development of the Italian language. 2. List the most important stages of development of the Italian literary language and the authors who have marked them. 3. Notice the differences between classical Latin, Vulgar Latin and Italian languages. 4. Analyze basic phonetic phenomena related to the development of the Italian language.
