After passing the exam, the student will be able to: - explain the origin, consistency and irregularity of the morphological and creative changes of the Old Russian language in relation to the modern Russian language; - perform a grammatical analysis of Old Russian texts, analyze texts of the Old Russian language; - analyzes the results of changes in phonetics, grammar, syntax, word formation, lexicon of the Russian language at different stages of its development; - compare the types of words in the modern Russian language in relation to Old Russian; - recognizes Church Slavonicisms in contemporary Russian texts;
