After the student passes this exam, he will be able to: • describe the general model of the communication system and explain the role of individual telecommunication circuits, • describe the characteristics of the transmission media used in computer communications, • explain the specifics of the communication system associated with the applied transmission medium, • understands the basic techniques of multiplexing, modulation and multiple access used in computer communications, • classifies the types of signals, codes and types of transmission used in computer communications, • knows the communication technologies used in modern computer communications.
