Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to: • Understand the modern requirements that an electricity distribution system should meet. • Be familiar with the implementation of modern systems for measuring electricity consumption. • Be familiar with methods for optimal network reconfiguration. • Understand the basic structure of control systems for flexible electricity distribution system. • Understand methods for calculating optimal parameters for the operation of an electricity distribution network. • Understand the role of the relay protection in active electricity distribution networks. • Familiar with the methods and possibilities of demand management.
