Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to: • Understand the method of modeling elements of power systems depending on the analyzed problem (power flows, faults, stability). • Understand the implementation of algorithms for calculating power systems. • Understand the specificities of methods for calculating power flows in transmission and distribution networks. • Understand the methods for calculating short and open circuits. • Implements basic algorithms for calculating the stability of power systems. • Analyzes the methods of implementing the static state estimation procedure. • Applies advanced matrix methods for the analysis of power systems. • Possesses the ability to research and present the results of their own analyses.
