After completing the course in the Fundamentals of electronics, a student who passes the course will be able to: 1. Define the basic characteristics of the semiconductors and the p-n junction; 2. Justifiy the basic amplifying characteristics of different types of transistors; 3. Examine mode of bipolar transistor including a model for small signals; 4. Interpret working principle and the differences between the differential amplifier and the power amplifier; 5. Analyze simple circuits with operational amplifiers, impulse circuits (CR and RC); 6. Interpret basic scheme oscillators, stabilizers and rectifier circuits; 7. Analyzes and graphically display the voltage waveforms at the characteristic points of the multivibrator circuits; 8. Different basic types of A / D and D / A converters;
