After passing the exam, the student will be able to: Know the basic chemical laws and rules of behavior in the chemical laboratory; Describe chemical changes qualitatively and quantitatively using the stoichiometric approach; Describes the electronic structure of atoms and the position of elements in the Periodic Table; Explain the following terms - solution, electrolyte, acid, base and salt; Explain the ionic product of water; Distinguish the basic classes of organic compounds.
