After successfully passing the exam student will be able to: - understand the basic principles of plant production - understand the importance of abiotic and biotic factors in plant production - organize production in different systems of crop production (crop rotation, monoculture, free crop rotation and mixed crops) - correctly apply different agricultural management practices in basic soil and sowing preparation, crop care, harvesting, processing and storage - identify weed species on arable land and apply different methods of their control - correctly apply diverse agricultural operations to eliminate damages caused by adverse environmental factors - use various ways of amendment of anomalous soils - recognize the importance of sustainable agriculture, promotion and protection of agroecosystems - present and transfer own acquired knowledge
